Your Portfolio Wrapped Might Be More Interesting Than Your Top Artist 👀
Portfolio Wrapped > Spotify Wrapped 😌
Hi Reader,
Welcome to The Money Series! If you are new here, thank you for signing up. Personal Finance can feel ambiguous and overwhelming, but I am here to help simplify the journey.
So yes… we’ve seen your Spotify Wrapped but can we see your investment portfolio wrapped as well? 👀

Some months ago, I shared a list of ETFs worth adding to your investment portfolio for 2025. Today, we’re taking it a step further.
I’m highlighting some of the best-performing ETFs across the same categories we discussed using real return data from Vanguard.
Think of this as your Investment Wrapped 2025. Let’s get into it.
Your 2025 ETF Performance Wrap!
Before we dive into the numbers, a quick reminder: Past performance is not a guarantee of future returns. And while these figures reflect how these ETFs have performed from January 1, 2025 to date, they’ve moved up and down during the year, as markets naturally do.
Here’s how the ETFs performed:
Vanguard FTSE Emerging Markets ETF (VWO): +24.15%
Total World Stock ETF (VT): +21.65%
S&P 500 Growth ETF (VOOG): +22.78%
S&P 500 ETF (VOO): +17.90%
Total US Stock Market ETF (VTI): +17.40%
If you invested $10,000 in each of these funds on January 1, 2025, your holdings would now look like this:
VWO → $12,415
VT → $12,165
VOOG → $12,278
VOO → $11,790
VTI → $11,740
These values assume you stayed fully invested — no withdrawals, no extra contributions. Just patience.
Looking at returns is exciting, just like checking your Spotify Wrapped. But don’t forget the deeper message hidden behind these numbers. The people who benefited the most in 2025 were not the ones who guessed right. They were the ones who stayed invested.
If you had waited for the “perfect moment,” you’d still be waiting. Meanwhile, the market was compounding… without you.
As the year wraps up and you start drafting your New Year’s resolutions, don’t forget the three key investing principles I always emphasise:
Start early
Stay consistent
Be patient
That’s how you build wealth that eventually surprises even you.
If you have questions on investing, just hit reply!
Reflect on This:
What does your portfolio wrapped look like this year?
Till next week, I am rooting for you, money-ly!
Dee
